Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund and cancellation policy for AuditnQ self-serve subscriptions.
Last updated: 2026-09-01
This policy supplements the SaaS Terms and, where it applies, the Data Processing Addendum. If there is a conflict, the Terms control (and the DPA controls for Customer Personal Data Processing as stated there). This policy applies to self-serve AuditnQ subscriptions purchased via checkout on this site. Quote-based or Japan domestic agreements may state different terms.
Free trial
Self-serve plans include a free trial as described on Pricing. Paid Fees are charged only if you convert to a paid subscription after the trial, as described at checkout or on Pricing. If you cancel during the trial, or do not convert, you will not be charged for that subscription.
Trials and beta features are provided “AS IS” and carry no warranty, indemnity, or SLA, as stated in the Terms. Evaluation of the Services is through the trial; we do not offer a post-purchase money-back period.
Cancellation
You may cancel a self-serve subscription at any time by contacting us via Contact, or through any self-serve cancellation method we enable. Cancellation will use a method no more difficult than the method used to subscribe.
Cancellation stops future renewals only. You retain access through the end of the then-current paid Subscription Term, unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law. There is no mid-term prorated refund of prepaid Fees for unused time in the then-current term. Fees already owed for the then-current term remain payable.
This applies to both monthly and annual self-serve plans. There is no separate advance non-renewal window.
Plan downgrades or reductions in Entitlements, when available, take effect at the next renewal unless we expressly agree otherwise. They do not create a refund or credit for the then-current term.
Refunds
Except as stated in the SaaS Terms, the DPA (where it applies), this policy, or required by law, Fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable for unused Entitlements in the then-current Subscription Term. Cancellation for convenience does not entitle you to a prorated or full refund.
We will refund prepaid unused Fees only when the Terms or DPA expressly require a refund. Those cases are:
- You terminate for our uncured material breach as described in the Terms;
- The paid Services fail the limited warranty in the Terms (material performance in accordance with the Documentation under normal use), we cannot reasonably correct the non-conformity, and you terminate as the exclusive remedy;
- An intellectual-property remedy in the Terms results in termination of the affected paid Services;
- A force majeure event continues for more than sixty (60) consecutive days and either Party terminates the affected Order as described in the Terms;
- We make a material adverse change to the Terms or DPA affecting paid customers, you object as described in our notice, and you timely terminate; or
- You object to a new Subprocessor under the DPA and terminate the affected Services as described there.
Interruptions, degradations, errors, or discontinuations of Third-Party Services — or our inability to obtain data or functionality from them — do not by themselves constitute a material breach or a warranty failure and do not entitle you to a refund, except to the extent the Terms or applicable law expressly require one.
A trial or beta feature does not give rise to a warranty refund.
We may refund or credit, at our option, a charge we confirm was duplicate or erroneous.
We will also refund when applicable law requires a refund.
Before opening a card chargeback, please contact us via Contact so we can review the invoice.
Failed payments
If a Fee payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend tenant access for undisputed past-due amounts, as stated in the Terms. Termination for undisputed non-payment follows the Terms, including the 15-day cure period.
